Press the mic to see live speech. Pause, resume, and switch between transcript and chat views.

Press Assist when a question lands. Cuefora carries forward a short summary so the next answer has context.

Speech transcription runs on your Mac. When you ask for an answer, Cuefora sends the current conversation segment, your chosen mode and attached context to the AI provider you selected in Settings.

When you stop a meeting, its transcript goes to that provider to create a recap.

Screen context is optional. If you turn it on, the current screenshot is sent with that request. You can view the exact image used for an answer inside the app.

Cuefora uses your own AI provider key for answers; your provider may charge for usage. After installing the app, first-time local transcription setup downloads about 2.1 GB of speech runtime and Qwen3-ASR-0.6B model files, including files from Hugging Face. After setup, transcription runs on your Mac. See how your meeting data is used.

Install and get ready

  1. 1. Install the appOpen the downloaded DMG and drag Cuefora to Applications. No Apple ID is needed to download or use Cuefora.
  2. 2. Approve the first launchThis initial release is not Developer ID signed or notarized. If macOS blocks Cuefora after you try to open it, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway, then confirm Open. Apple’s instructions explain the steps.
  3. 3. Set up transcriptionPress the mic and Cuefora will start local speech setup if needed. You can also start it in Settings. Add your own AI provider key and choose a model for answer suggestions.
